Because the forum never had a distinctive custom style besides the standard one, we could give this one a try.
I modified it to a point where its both clean and easy to the eyes.

So browse around and give us your vote.
Either you like it or you do not, if the majority thinks its OK we could keep it.

I'am not sure whether or not this is style-related: When I visiting the forum, I received a popup asking me whether or not I want to install the "Tapatalk", which has to be payed. After I said "chancel" it no longer appears... but this is not that good that users are asked to download and pay for an app when using the forum with a mobile device.

I was not aware that Tapatalk invokes a popup on viewing the page in your mobile browser.
Tapatalk is the most widely used forums manager for mobile devices and yes the app costs money.
There are some like me that download and use the software without paying.
Tapatalk is not mandatory for this Forum and not mandatory for this style, i just installed it so that people who have Tapatalk are able to use it.
If this is a unwanted change i shall remove Tapatalk undo the changes (1 line of JavaScript).

I managed to disable the popup, it seemed that a lot of people had the same idea because it was quite simple to remove.
Verified on two Android devices that the popup is no longer appearing.

As long as the forum is not asking to download another app, it's ok for me. The new style looks ok as well.

everything is cool except forum header with screenshots. It was not obvious to me that clicking on them will lead me to the main page. I think one solid picture with title "PixelLight" on it would be better
